Flag Subscription Fundraiser Proposed

Posted on Mar 19 2019 - 8:17pm

The Troop Commmittee received a suggestion is to initiate a Flag Subscription Program as a new voluntary fundraiser for the scouts in the troop.  Basically, any scout who wishes to participate solicits neighbors to subscribe to receive a flag in their yard for one of seven flag holidays. More detail here. The profit would go into the scout's personal "account," that is, an amount of money that the scout can draw upon for camp, grub fees, rechartering, gear, etc, similar to the money earned for selling extra Pancake Breakfast tickets or popcorn.
